We believe that professional carers who have received professional training can only give high levels of care.  Our carers are all interviewed and carefully screened before we employ them.  We take the opportunity to obtain personal references, and also try to give the Service user the choice of standard of care he or she will receive.

 

Our professional - trained carers provide a service in a manner that meets the needs of the Service user, as defined in their Individual Care Plans. They are familiar with, and able to care for, those Service users who are experiencing problems associated with old age and physical infirmity.  They are there to offer a range of services including personal care, housekeeping, domestic assistance and companionship.

 

All Home Carers must undertake manual Handling training and also complete their NVQ Care level 2.

 

The carers work in teams and the manager manages each member of staff.
